Navigating through Workbook Tabs in MS Excel

Working with multiple sheets in a workbook can be useful if you’re working with similar data. However, moving through the workbook may seem difficult or even annoying. In this brief tutorial, learn a few ways to quickly & easily move from worksheet to worksheet in Excel. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at questions@pbttinfo.com.

1. Use the arrows at the bottom left-hand portion of the screen to bring different worksheet tabs into view.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. You can right click the arrows to bring up a list of the worksheet tabs within your workbook. By selecting a worksheet from the list you will be brought to that worksheet.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. A keyboard shortcut to move from tab to tab in your workbook is ‘Ctrl + Page Up’ & ‘Ctrl + Page Down’

 

 

4. ‘Ctrl + Page Up’ moved our tabs to the right, ‘Ctrl + Page Down’ would move our tabs back to the left
