Organize By Color Using Outlook 2007

When you’re getting tens or even hundreds of emails per day, sometimes it’s hard to catch the most important ones. In order to be able to easily see emails from important sources, one method is to use color – colored text will catch your eye and safeguard against missing those crucial messages. 1. One nice way to organize your email in addition to creating new folders is to organize by color. Let’s start under the “Tools” menu and click on “Organize”:

 

2. Now, in the dialog box that pops up, go immediately to “Using Colors”:

 

3. Now, we’re going to have all of the mail from “christy…” to appear in the color “Teal”; select “Teal” from the drop-down list:

 

4. Now, click on “Apply Color” and the word “Done!” should appear immediately beside “Apply Color” as shown below:

 

5. Now, close the dialog box and click OFF the “christy…” email and the “Teal” color should be visible as shown below:

 

 

6. Here is the “Teal” color magnified:
